Tessa Tripp and her family extend a warm welcome to guests at Long Acre Bed & Breakfast, Dorset, which is peaceful and secluded, set in an acre of garden and bordered by fields. It is situated on the rural outskirts of the pretty village of Owermoigne, 7 miles east of Dorchester and there is plenty of off road parking With easy access to the A352, it is in a perfect position from which to visit many areas of natural beauty and Dorset’s main attractions. The Jurassic Coast is only 10mins away by car or 3 miles walking distance. We welcome children 7yrs and older.
Tessa has lived in the area since 1969 and lives at Long Acre B&B with her two teenage daughters Chloe & Jodie, and her elderly mother. Tessa has been welcoming guests for many years and is happy to share her knowledge of Dorset. Her priority is to make her guests’ stay a comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Music is a source of pleasure for the family and singing can often be heard from the accomplished younger generation in the household. Any guests who play an instrument are welcome to accompany, or just relax, sit back and enjoy!
On sunny days, guests are welcome to relax in the extensive grounds. Tessa lays out a self service buffet breakfast in the light and airy conservatory overlooking the garden, which is very popular with guests.
Long Acre Bedroom
There are two guest bedrooms. The Bluebell Room overlooks the front of the house and woodland, and has a double and single bed with en-suite shower room. It has a tea & coffee tray, hairdryer, TV and free WiFi. The Magnolia Room overlooks the garden and has a double bed with en-suite corner bath and shower over.
